Walt Disney World has released resort room-only discounts for late Summer to early Fall 2026 for Annual Passholders and Florida residents offer savings of up to 40% off most dates through October 3, 2026. This post shares the details of these special offers, best dates to save the most money, plus sample pricing, commentary, analysis & other info.
In case you’ve forgotten, there are currently other special offers for both Florida residents and Annual Passholders that run between now and July 29, 2026. Generally speaking, this newer discount is better; not because it’s a higher percentage savings, but because there are lower resort rack rates for the post-summer off-season in the second half of August and September than there are for summer months–but May does come close.
Those aren’t the only deals available for booking right now–just the various special offers for Annual Passholders and Florida residents. Per Walt Disney World, here are the deal details: Annual Passholders can stay in the magic and save on rooms at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels—for most arrivals from July 30 to October 3, 2026.

Annual Passholders must present a valid Walt Disney World AP at check-in. Additional per-adult charges may apply if more than 2 adults per room at Value, Moderate and Deluxe Resorts and Studios at Deluxe Villa Resorts. Maximum length of stay under this deal is 14 nights.
Offer excludes the following room types: 3-Bedroom Villas; Moderate & Deluxe Resort Suites; Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge; and Bungalows and Penthouses at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

Alternatively, if you want to take advantage of either discount but want someone else to do the work, we’d recommend requesting a FREE no obligation quote from Be Our Guest Vacations, an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and having them book for you. They will happy to assist you with the planning process, help you choose the most economical dates, best add-ons, and so forth. Notably, they also monitor reservations and can retroactively apply new discounts if a better deal is released to save you more money.
One thing to note before we get going is that both the Annual Passholder and Florida resident room rates cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion, except the Kids Eat FREE All Year in 2026 at Walt Disney World special offer.
With this, guests will get a FREE Disney Dining Plan for their kids (ages 3 to 9 at the time of travel) when purchasing a Disney Dining Plan as part of their package for the other members of their party (ages 10 and up at the time of travel). Kids get whatever the adults buy.
This sweetens the deal on every special offer for 2026 for young families, making the DDP pretty much a no-brainer for parents with kids ages 3-9. It’s a fantastic option for doing character meals and other non-Signature table service restaurants (we recommend the standard tier over the quick-service level).
Even though you’ll have to pay to get the Disney Dining Plan for the adults in your party, adding this to your package is going to result in superior savings versus paying out of pocket for food. That should be true even if you do not maximize the Disney Dining Plan.
Here’s what we found for best available rates for this Annual Passholder discount:
This search is for the night of September 2, 2026, which is part of the “Value” rate season at Walt Disney World. On the rack rate chart spectrum, this is one of the cheapest times of the year to visit Walt Disney World in 2026. Note that rates would’ve been even better had this been a 4 or more night stay, at least theoretically. That makes it trickier to find full availability and at the lowest rates, so my sample search is only for a single night.
With that said, rates do vary on different days of the week. Friday through Sunday nights are all going to be more expensive, and less consistent. In general, Friday and Saturday will be the most expensive days of the week, with Sunday through Thursday costing less–but still more than Monday through Wednesday nights. Holiday weeks are also more expensive. Basically, room rates are higher any time when kids are out of school.

My assessment this discount is pretty positive. This deal has been one of the best of the year for the last few years, thanks in equal parts to it coinciding with the late summer and early fall off-season (meaning better selection), having lower rack rates to begin with, and an above-average savings chart.
It was better last year, at least for Annual Passholders, as it included a limited selection of dates deeper into the holiday season (October 20 to November 1, November 17 to November 24, and December 6 to December 22). That was relatively unprecedented and availability was constrained, so I’m not surprised Walt Disney World didn’t do it again. Would’ve been nice to get a headstart on booking those dates, though!
One big winner with both of these deals is young families in that sweet spot age range for the Kids Eat Free promo. Thanks to that, those guests should get a better deal in 2026 with either the FL or AP deal than they would’ve last year in the absence of the Kids Eat Free special offer.
Obviously, that only applies to a subset of guests. And others might feel left out by virtue of not qualifying, especially parents with tweens just above the cutoff age with small appetites. It technically leaves us out, too, albeit on the lower end of the spectrum, so not nearly as painful. Still, we love to see year over year price decreases–even if only for some guests!
There are $115 Value Resort prices, and $145 for Pop Century is not bad at all. Moderates are in the sub-$200 starting range is great. Several other Deluxe Resorts in the $300s and $400s per night! Those are really good rates, especially if you stack them with the Kids Eat Free promo.
Generally speaking, it’s difficult to complain about these prices, although we do notice several hotels are about +$5 to +$20 more expensive per night than last year. At this point, it’s difficult to tell whether that’s a result of our specific searches or across the board rack rate increases that more or less track with inflation.
As always, it pays to be an Annual Passholder. Florida resident rates are still very good, but not quite as attractive. Also, there’s the requirement that you book longer for maximum savings, which just isn’t realistic for locals, most of whom probably prefer shorter staycations.

Between those prices and the on-site perks, it’s tough for us to justify staying off-site–at least in budget or mid-tier accommodations. The circumstances would be different if we wanted a luxury hotel, large vacation home, or something more novel.
But the days of doing one of the standard Flamingo Crossings hotels, or even Disney Springs, are pretty much over as long as discounts like this are offered–and have availability (not always the case when booking last minute!).
When it comes to on-site perks, don’t underestimate the value of Early Entry and (potentially) Extended Evening Hours. We’ve found that many fans dismiss the former due to it being “only” 30 minutes, but we’ve found Early Entry to be incredibly advantageous (see our Guide to Early Entry at Walt Disney World).
For those who are eligible, Extended Evening Hours is absolutely fantastic (see our Guide to Extended Evening Hours at Walt Disney World for strategy and other info). We wouldn’t recommend booking a Deluxe or Villa Resort just for Extended Evening Hours, but if you’re on the fence or thinking about a split stay…it’s a good idea. Consider putting that money towards upgrading your accommodations instead of something like After Hours.
Oh, and don’t forget the return of the on-site advantage of ride reservations. If you’re going to purchase the new line-skipping service, having the 7-day window (plus length of stay–up to 14 days) is huge. Finally, for the Floridians who are driving or anyone else renting a car, there’s also the added bonus of not having to pay for parking. Most off-site hotels still charge for parking, so that’s something to consider if you’re debating Disney hotels or something at Universal Orlando, Flamingo Crossings, Disney Springs, Bonnet Creek, etc.
Ultimately, if you’re an Annual Passholder who is eager for late summer getaway to Walt Disney World, these deals are really strong. There’s a surprising amount for repeat visitors to experience, from the tail end of Cool Kids’ Summer to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, Mandalorian & Baby Yoda Mission on Millennium Falcon, enhanced Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and more.
Just not major marketable new additions, but honestly, that’s probably for the best for us from the perspective of crowds and demand! On that note, one thing to keep in mind is that last year’s last-minute deals offered scorching savings that surpassed 40% for select resorts. Those rates were last-minute and more limited, but we’ll nevertheless be keeping an eye out and will notify subscribers of our free email newsletter when any Walt Disney World discounts are released or rumored!
