Discount Rooms Starting at Per Night at Disney World in Winter 2026 for Disney Visa

Discount Rooms Starting at $99 Per Night at Disney World in Winter 2026 for Disney Visa

Walt Disney World has released new deeply-discounted resort room-only rates for Disney Visa Cardmembers in Winter 2026, at select hotels in every resort tier and with starting rates as low as $99 per night! This post shares the details of the special offer, commentary about the deal & other info.

This is one of many deals that Walt Disney World has released for 2026 vacations, with special offers for Annual Passholders, Floridians, and Disney Visa cardholders. This includes the deeply-discounted Disney+ 3-Day, 3-Park WDW Ticket, the popular Save Up to $250 Per Night at Walt Disney World in Winter to Summer 2026 special offer and the straightforward Save Up to 25% Off WDW Resorts Room-Only Discount for January to Spring Break 2026.

There will almost assuredly be another wave of discounts released in early 2026, but there probably will not be much–if any–overlap between those travel dates and this Disney Visa Cardmember Deal. This is relatively last minute, whereas the next round of special offers will likely cover spring through late summer–perhaps as late as October 2026. (For every other special offer that’s currently available, see All Current Walt Disney World Discounts for 2026.)

Best of all, most of these and other upcoming discounts can be combined with the Kids Eat FREE All Year in 2026 at Walt Disney World offer. This can be combined with other select special offers, meaning you may still be eligible to take advantage of other deals released for 2026 in addition to this. The Kids Eat Free offer stacks with all 2026 room-only discounts, from bouncebacks to general public discounts. Even DVC point rental is eligible for the Kids Free Dining Plan!

That’s notable, because this Disney Visa Cardmember room discount for Winter 2026 can be stacked with the Kids Free Dining Plan offer. That’s huge, and makes the below discount even sweeter than it already is!

Here are the official details for the new discount:

Note that this discount was just announced, and I don’t yet see a link to search availability online. I could be missing it, but for now it appears that you’ll need to call or contact your travel agent. This isn’t uncommon with the Disney Visa deals–a link will likely materialize within the next few hours. Perhaps before I even hit publish on this post.

On the rack rate chart spectrum, winter is generally the least expensive time to visit Walt Disney World of the entire year. The lowest-priced ‘value season’ dates can be found throughout January and into February, with slightly higher (but still relatively reasonable) rates available in late February and early March.

Friday through Sunday nights are all going to be more expensive, and less consistent. In general, Friday and Saturday will be the most expensive days of the week, with Sunday through Thursday costing less–but still more than Monday through Wednesday nights. Holiday weeks are also more expensive. Basically, room rates are higher any time when kids are out of school.

For more on timing your trip to coincide with the lowest prices, see When’s Cheapest to Visit Walt Disney World? That covers price increases and other variables that impact the cost of a vacation beyond just room rates.

Turning to analysis of this Disney Visa Cardmember discount, it is excellent when it comes to the eligible resorts.

In searching for availability with the 35% Annual Passholder rate, which is the best available discount for Winter 2026, here are the cheapest rooms I previously found:

It’s hit or miss as to whether the AP or Disney Visa Cardmember discount wins, but at “worst,” this is the second-best discount available–it beats the Florida resident rate across the board..

Just to reiterate, the AP discount that we’re using as a comparison is really good–so if you’re previously booked under the general public percentage savings, FL resident deal, or anything else–you might want to rebook under this Disney Visa Cardmember special offer.

It’s worth noting that this discount is coming during a time of year when Walt Disney World has been reporting its strongest growth and highest occupancy numbers. Unlike summer, which has been slumping for the last several years, winter has been getting stronger.

In fact, our commentary about the initial wave of Winter 2026 discounts, which were ever-so-slightly worse in quality (and seemingly in availability), was that Walt Disney World didn’t want to offer too good of deals. And also, that we expected continued pullback on winter discounting even as Walt Disney World gets more aggressive with deals during the summer.

That was evident in contrasting the unprecedented May through August discounts with the previous Winter 2026 deals. To that point, this Disney Visa deal still is not quite as good as last summer’s unprecedented Disney+ subscriber deal…but it’s in the same ballpark. To be able to say that about a winter versus a summer special offer alone speaks volumes.

Speaking of elevated occupancy and crowds, if your travel dates are flexible and you’re wondering which dates are best, check out our Best & Worst Weeks to Visit Walt Disney World in 2026 & 2027. A couple of our top 10 weeks of the entire year are covered by this promo, and as we explain in those rankings, winter and early spring can be fantastic times to visit WDW from a qualitative perspective!

Suffice to say, this is spectacular for a higher occupancy, higher demand time of year. My best guess is that Walt Disney World is trying to maintain high occupancy numbers–the level of which fueled last year’s record-setting revenue results–and they don’t have a ton of room inventory allocated to this offer. It’s just what’s unsold at this point, and it won’t last long.

Plan on being flexible with your hotel choice, room category, and travel dates for the biggest savings. Even as other dates have seen a slowdown at Walt Disney World, winter and early spring have actually increased in popularity, so you should count on many of these dates being very competitive.

As covered in Why Disney World Resort Hotels Still Sell Out Despite Lower Crowds, we’d expect most dates in Winter 2026 to sell out. It wouldn’t surprise us in the least if very little room inventory is allocated to this special offer for January through early March, and what is available sells out quickly at the most desirable and cost-effective resorts.

All Star Sports Resort Disney World 017

At the lower end of the spectrum, these savings make the Value and Moderate Resorts tough to beat. You’re going to be hard-pressed to do better than the rates Walt Disney World is offering if you can find availability for your travel dates. For instance, ~$99 per night for All Stars Sports–with the new rooms, Early Entry, transportation, and free parking–is a very fair price, in our view.

The on-site advantage is also significant for certain restaurant (GEO-82, Beak & Barrel, Space 220) and ride reservations. If you’re going to purchase the new line-skipping service, having the 7-day window (plus length of stay–up to 14 days) is huge. It’s probably going to be make-or-break when it comes to booking Slinky Dog Dash, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and other headliners. See our Lightning Lane Multi-Pass at Walt Disney World FAQ.

Of course, rooms are not as cheap as what you would’ve paid this same time in 2019, let alone 2016. Back in my day, the All Stars had off-season rates that were routinely $79 per night or less! Unfortunately, it’s impossible to book those past prices. Even with that in mind, this isn’t too far from that when adjusted for inflation. For that matter, these rates are not as good as the peak of discounting back in Winter 2024.

Cars Art Animation Transportation Disney World 1023

These are fantastic deals across the board, but I want to call your attention to are the Cars Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation, which has a rack rate of $579 per night; the Savanna View Rooms at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge with a rack rate of $658. That means either of these options are over 50% off for Disney Visa Cardmembers. Those are HUGE discounts…subject to availability, of course!

This were both also part of the Disney+ deal last summer, and had better rates then. So they’re not exactly unprecedented discounts. But outside of that deal, it’s very rare to see a discount like this.

Ultimately, if you’re Disney Visa Cardmember who is eager for a Winter 2026 escape to Walt Disney World, these deals are as good as it’s going to get unless you’re an Annual Passholder (in which case, you should’ve already booked!).

If you’re more on the fence, one thing we would strongly advise is making a decision ASAP. The last round of these discounts for Disney+ subscribers last summer did not last long. We’re talking hours and days–not weeks–for some resort, room, and date combos. And that was for summer. Again, a lower-demand and lower-occupancy time of year than winter at Walt Disney World. It’s my strong suspicion that even less inventory is allocated to this deal.

Not to “scare” you into booking or generating undue FOMO, but I could see this Disney Visa Cardmember Winter 2026 special offer being materially sold out by the end of the day. Good luck.
